Dr. Wood is one of the Drs. I trust the most. He’s gentle and keeps asking during the procedures if I’m ok and if I’m not he stops.

They only post positive reviews. Believe me my experience was not positive. Unethical, unprofessional and cold hearted. They do not want to help. They want your money.

I have cancer up and down my spine. After a consult with Dr Baksh I decided to have a pain pump installed. Then I had a follow up appointment with a PA who was rude and uninterested. I still had the intension of having a pain pump installed as the pain increased. I am so glad I didn’t. I have spoken with other patients who have shared their experiences and they are nightmares. They do not care about their patients. You are treated disrespectful and when a problem arises you’re on your own. THEY DO NOT HELP! I have stage 4 cancer on my cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. I would never let them touch me.

Dr. Baksh, Jennifer Parker and other staff are wonderful. My SI pain is gone , unfortunately I have many spinal issues. Dr. Baksh is addressing them one at a time. Currently my lumbar area is being addressed with nerve ablation.

Dr. Javid Baksh is the most professional and compassionate health care/pain management doctor that I have ever had. I feel very blessed and lucky to have been referred to such a wonderful Specialist! The staff are also incredibly professional and welcoming. This office has wonderful Doctors and Staff that are helpful and relieving with their medical treatments as well as efficient with time slots/management for the patients. The only One I've met who explained everything to me regarding what's expected of me. She the only who showed she cared about my chronic pain and wanted to help me get out of the pain I have. Dr Bakish was wonderful with me, we talked through my shot and when he was finished, I said “wait I want to see your face -and I saw a very kind face and I put my hand out to shake his hand and I thanked him for taking care of me.

I was in for an RFA procedure. I felt very informed and comfortable. The process was quick, easy and painless.

Dr Baksh is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered in my entire life. For years I have dealt with the same issues and not only to have a doctor that listens but also a doctor that does procedures as well as medication instead of just here is medicine now go on is critical. While medicine is okay, the fact that he looks beyond that and works to truly help you with proven procedures is phenomenal and he is one that I would say is all about the patient as well as the practice at large from the front end staff to the clinicians. I have been with him for years and they never have disappointed and remain professional yet caring. Thank you Premier Pain Team. All of you.

The procedure was about 85-90% effective. Very impressed with Dr Baksh. Glad to be his patient.

Had a good visit he took time to address my concerns and problems .I know they are extremely busy with a lot of patience.but I think all doctors should know their patients and give them time to address their concerns and listen to them .some doctors are in and out.Ive only saw doctor wood a couple times but I think he honestly cares for his patients and listen to what you have to say .and that means alot

Second time there for an arthritis injection. I strongly recommend if you have any questions get them asked before the injection if you are able to. After the injection Dr Baksh is out the door on to the next patient. Feels like an assembly line in some ways. I believe he is a good Doctor but bedside manner is non existent.

Dr. B does a great job QUICKLY getting things done. If I had anything to suggest, I'd say spend a little more time talking to patients and not moving so quickly through your routine. I love that you all do efficiently get safely through all the procedures and the cases you have. My only issue is that you do pack in SO many clients in a day - that many of us do not get even a cursory moment to talk to the physician. I need anxiety meds every time I have an anesthetized procedure, it would be nice if folks remembered that. Dr. B is professional in his mannerisms, always displaying a professional demeanor. Now... please don't forget we are all people and it builds rapport and trust...if you spend a little more time before getting down to procedural business. If you want people to get the Best experience... you do not need to have the patients coming and going En masse. I hope he pays his hardworking employees well. Because with the HEAVY load of patients he has... many people's needs can fall between the cracks. Everyone there is professional though. You can tell by their energy they are over worked. But at least the crew seems to work relatively well together. Thanks for all of your years of care for my extremely painful condition of ehlers danlos. (Next time let's make sure I always have my anxiety meds Before the sleepy juice!)

I think you need to do more work with controling the estemilater.

Watch how they bill your insurance. Watch how they bill your insurance for general surgery and radiology for a simple scapula injection. Watch your insurance reject that claim. Watch for that surprise $6,000 bill that you can't afford. Just watch.

Not only are all the Physicians at Premier Pain Solutions PLLC OBLIVIOUS to the fact that the Butrans Pain Patch does not "Populate" on a standard Urine Detection Test, but they are also DELINQUENT in paying back creditors. These so-called Physicians are NOT to be trusted!

I have been seen at Premiere Pain Solutions in Asheville for over a year. I have never seen a BETTER run office than this one. ALL the staff are just as cordial, nice, knowledgeable, and helpful as can be! And if you are in pain, I can guarantee you will get some great results from the care you receive from Dr. Baksh, the other people in the office, Jennifer a PA that works there, Gabriel who assists Dr. Baksh, the front desk ladies, the CNA's, etc. (Madison), and all of them. I've spent several times with Dr. Woods explained my situation thoroughly. I don't know if he understands what I'm going through or if he doesn't want me as his practice. I'm not sure what the what the reasons are, but the pain that I enjoy every single day is unfair.. I understand he has to follow a protocol and that's fine.. I just wish that they would discuss things with me in depth if they want me as a client or not

I got a spine stimulator in December 2024 and ended up going into sepsis shock from a raging infection that developed after the surgery. The stimulator was immediately removed by a wonderful neurosurgeon at Mission Hospital, however, I almost died twice while in the ICU due to multiple organ failure. I just wanted to let Dr. Baksh and staff know that I lived since they were made aware of my condition but did not care enough to follow up with me. I deeply regret ever going to Premiere Pain Solutions.

For the past year I have had a virtual “Merry-Go-Round” of physicians including Dr. McLaren, Dr. Kathy Lewis, Dr. Randy Kimery, PA Ortiz-Ruiz, and Dr. Batch. The overall reason why I am seeking pain management services is that I am suffering from tremendous pain caused by the following conditions of the spine: MODERATE CENTRAL CANAL STENOSIS FROM L3 TO S1. SEVERE BILATERAL NEURAL FORAMINAL STENOSIS AT L5-S1. After many medical consultations, it has been determined that surgery is the pathway for some relief of extreme pain caused by my conditions, however, before surgery can take place my insurance requires me to do the following: Obtain imaging of spine, seek medications for treatment, physical therapy, and an epidural. I am currently in progress of achieving these requirements. I seek medication prescriptions from Premier Pain Solutions to relieve pain and suffering until surgery. This service was denied for me on 29 July 2025, because the physicians claim that my pain patch Butrans 10 Mcg/hr did not “populate” a Urine Screen requested by Kathy Lewis on 28 May 2025. I was made aware of this during my visit with Jesenia Ortiz-Ruiz the following month. Jesenia requested me to take another Urine Screen to test if the Butrans Patch would “populate” the screen. A day later I received a phone call from a manager at Premier Pain Solutions located in Wilmington, that gave me instructions to come in that day by 3pm for a “random urine screen”, because the previous screen conducted a day before was destroyed on the advice of Kathy Lewis without being tested. The manager wanted to be sure that a Butrans Patch, from the new prescription provided by Jesenia Ortiz-Ruiz, would be located on my arm during this screen. I informed the manager on the phone, that I have not obtained the new prescription, and that said prescription would not be available until 3 July. The manager later called me the same day and stated a new Urine Screen was not necessary until my visit with Randy Kimrey on 29 July. On 29 July 2025, I was informed by Randy Kimery that there were multiple Urine Screens in which the Butrans Patch did not “populate”, I was alarmed by this revelation! I wear the Butrans Patch as directed by the written prescription, flawlessly. This medication is my only lifeline away from catastrophic pain, pain that has resulted in at least two Novant Health/New Hanover Region Medical Center Emergency Room visits! I am reporting “to whom it may concern” that I can provide pictures of my arm, in which any person with normal vision, can easily make out the impression the Butrans Patches leave behind, especially visible with the contrast of my sun-soaked skin around them! Additionally, at no time have I ever used or would even consider using, the Butrans Patch for anything else other than providing some relief from catastrophic pain, pain that has completely RUINED my life over the past year! Furthermore, there are many credible reports that the Butrans Patch tend to give off false negatives, and that relying on Urine Screens alone should not be conducted for the evaluation of pain management. The management/physicians at Premier Pain Solutions must not be aware of these reports, or choose to ignore them, which jeopardizes my healthcare needs. In summary, I have addressed all these issues with my physicians/management at Premier Pain Solutions located in Wilmington, and they have either made accusations that I have been misusing the medication, or conveying Drug Enforcement Agency requirements, that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with my healthcare. Randy very knowledgeable and zeros in on the problem and makes you very comfortable. He is very easy to talk to and listens to what you have to say.

Randy was as supportive as usual and taught me about the various pain pathways. Scripts submitted before I even left the office. Excellent practitioners.

I would like to let people know that before the Doctor comes in there’s a technician named Gabriel who helps you calm down and get on the table no problem!! The Doctor is great too! But the technician also helps you back up and off the table which can be difficult after the procedure but Gabriel makes sure you are okay!! Thank goodness for Gabriel!!

I've been seeing Brandy for well over 2 yrs . He always has time to listen and talk through any issues I'm going through. I've had several types of injections by him. The staff is always pleasant, I highly recommend this practice.

I have always had a great experience with Dr Baksh whether he is putting in a pain stimulator which has for me been very helpful at controlling alot of my chronic pain. I have also had epidurals and he just this week had to inject my cervical spine. Dr Baksh is so accurate and can get his patients through these procedures so quickly, that you can really appreciate

I had a great experience with Dr Baksh today. I was there to see him and have him assess my need for an epidural. He agreed I did and the procedure was done and it was much less painful than I ever expected because I had never had anything like this done to me before. My wife has been a patient of his for many years and Dr Baksh has put pain stimulators in her and in fact she need a cervical epidural and that was also done today.

This dr. gave me attitude about my medication because I WAS 5 DAYS SHORT on my Percocet, when I tried to explain I had accidently left the meds in my daily pill box at home she completely stopped my meds, put me on something else and then before I could leave(I hear her out side my door talking about it to the MA), the MA comes in saying that all meds I brought with me has to be wasted in the office!. This was MY FIRST TIME of having any medication issues in over a year of going there. Then I get to pharmacy and they don't have the medication in stock at any CVS in Anderson, SC! So now i am suffering until Monday when hopefully I will be able to get the new medication.

He was so sympathetic about the pain I am in and that also helps because for so long doctors acted like they didn’t believe me. The staff in Wilmington is wonderful also. Listens and they really care about you

I don’t feel like I was treated with any respect at all. You can definitely tell that the staff is just filing people through. No empathy at all for what they’re going through to have to be there. I won’t be going back and have told my oncology team that referred me, about the experience I had. Don’t think they’ll be referring any more of their patients here.

I have been with Dr. Baksh at or about 3yrs now. He is very super nice man. He always addresses his patients by their first and last name. He is a very busy man.

I was underwhelmed. Dr B never took a seat, he just stood anxiously waiting for the consultation to end. He could only offer me the same old epidural injections that I went through for years without success. He didn’t leave me with much hope. Didn’t ask me how I was dealing with my pain. Heat, ice, tens unit, physical therapy, exercise, Tylenol, Advil, pool therapy??? None of these came up. Clinic was run down and deep clean and coat of paint would help.

I had and have the best care. I am feeling better and able to move around so much better than I have in a long time since the spinal cord stimulator was implanted, Dr. Baksh and the other care givers at Premier Pain Solutions are awesome and Thank you.

Didn't listen. The only important opinion was HIS. NO DISCUSSION. He just arbitrarily put me on a medication without regard to my allergies or ability to pay for it. He couldn't even explain what the medication really is. THANKFULLY I'M NOT ALLERGIC TO IT. Hopefully, I can talk to Dr. B next time.

I had a PMVA shoulder injury and it was one of the most painful experiences of my life. With the help of the good care recommendations and treatment provided by Dr.Baksh I feel like I should be able to return to normal activity soon with little difficulty. It is possible to get through this type of injury without use of oral pain medications. I had my doubts but have seen good results.

I was absolutely amazed with my 1st appointment!!!!! Everyone was friendly and appeared happy to be at work. Dr. Baksh was knowledgeable with my history including my current & prior doctors. I've been to several doctors over the last 4 years for help, and he FINALLY gave me options for lasting relief that did not simply throw more and/or new drugs in the hopes something might work. I left their office feeling lighter and hopeful. I walked out feeling seen AND heard. It is a rarity to feel even one of those, and I cannot think of a higher compliment.

My appt was scheduled for trigger point injections. Randy came in, greeted me as usual, then got straight to it. I was in and out within 15 minutes! He’s a wonderful PA, and very efficient!!

Randy has been great. Very concerned with my Pain problems. He's doing everything possible to get to the cause and is treating me with medication at this time until the problems are identified then will instruct me of treatment or medication to help me.

I’m a new patient, but my impression is that Dr. Baksh is very competent, thorough and knowledgeable about the chronic back issues I’ve been dealing with for over 20 years. I just had my procedure Wednesday 10/16 and have been encouraged because of lower pain level. I realize it will take longer for full benefit and long term benefits to be realized, but I am hopeful!

I have been with him for years now and he has and is a Very Good Dr. and will help you , he implanted a pain stimulator in my back and about 50% of my pain is gone but it’s only been about a month and 1/2 since my surgery but I have up most respect for him…

He was wonderful, and I understand about pain management. But I am not doing to good right now because my old pain doctor's will not refill for this month. So I am going to be in a bad way. I only have 2 days left.

I Hlhave been to the clinic numerous times as a patient. My interactions both in person and by phone has always been pleasant, proficient, and professional. My recommendation for improvement for the staff and provider would be to share their first name and the purpose of their task in taking care of the patient. At no time during my appts. was this done. An easy fix, but a HIGH impact to patient care. I was in the Healthcare profession for many years. This simple task was one of the primary fundermentals in the patient experience that we were taught in myHealthcare system.

Had a procedure today to block a nerve in my back. It feels wonderful! No pain at all after years of suffering with it. Thank you, thank you!

Very good and caring about your health

On my last visit, I had been in so much pain and Dr backs came to the door and asked if I was still healing from surgery. I stated that I was and he said to me "they will take care of you ." And proceeded to walk out. Didn't ask how I was doing or anything, despite the fact I had contacted the office during the month to let them know that the tylox was not helping my pain. He didn't want to know about me nor did he even give me the courtesy to meet me face to face. When I'm feeling better, I will be finding a new pain doctor. So disappointed and kinda hurt. What an ass.

From the greeting as I entered the door every experience was fantastic. The clinical staff was extremely thorough and kind hearted. The staff does their best with your personal needs. Cheerful dispositions. If someone can't answer your question, they find the person for you who can.

Took 6 months to look at MRI. Was prescribed tilinal 3. Bottle never opened, but there for emergencies. 45 minute drive after morning coffee., had to go to the bathroom. Nurse would not let me, put me in an isolation room without explanation. The treated me like I was on drugs wanting me to pee in a bottle without explanation. 24 years of service, 80% disability and get treated like crap. Would not go back.

Dr Baksh is good. I am a 70 year old woman with severe back pain. He listens to you and does everything he can do to help. I recommend him highly.

Dr Baksh always comes in the room in a positive mood and great spirit to greet you. He takes the time to listen to any questions you may have. He does not make you feel rushed and will address any concerns you may have.

Staff is always nice and listen to your needs. They move efficiently and you will never have to wait long for the doctor. They handle everything even a dispute with insurance. I have been a patient of Dr Baksh for almost a year and no complaints so far.

When I arrived at Premier Pain, my pain level is hitting at around 7-8 level on me. Every person at Premier Pain Solutions is so sweet and nice and helpful to all my care and needs. I received the best old fassioned care, chair/bedside manners that everybody wants and needs these days, especially when you are in a lot of pain and feel so bad. After I receive my shots to help take away a lot of the pain, everybody is still the same sweetest sweethearts. Their attitudes and personalities and care are a great plus, all while being at the very top of their professionalism in their medical professional career. You really cannot ask for anything more. Also the office,waiting room, patient rooms and the bathrooms are always very clean, with no dirty nasty carpet anywhere in there. So you can breathe nice clean air while you are there. I always feel a lot better from the pain relief, and the care and attention that I received from Premier Pain Solutions.

I liked him from the very beginning! He is very understanding and try’s to help or accommodate. Although he is very straightforward and tells you how things are here in North Carolina and I thank you very much for that.

No they don't care about you I'm having withdrawals because they stoped my pain meds. And didn't even talk to me about having withdrawals. I have a Spinal cord Stimulater in my back I don't know what I'm going to do if I need it adjusted sense I can't go to the Easley office

Dr. Baksh is great! The only thing is I had a appointment and due to traffic on 85 I was a little late. They wouldn’t see me and I just had major hip replacement 3 weeks prior. So because they wouldn’t see me I couldn’t get my meds for pain.Then I was told I had to wait a month for a appointment. Told me they would send me meds for withdraws. Sent me in clonidine which is blood pressure meds.I just had major hip replacement 3 weeks ago it’s no way I can go a month without my meds.And it wasn’t the doctor it was the front office ppl.And I told her I had major hip surgery. Where is the caring and compassion?

When I 1st started going to Premier I was seeing Kathy Lewis. I now see Randy Kimery. I have no complaints for either 1 of them. Everyone that works there that I have come in contact with has been very nice, helpful, professional, respectful, which is very hard to come by in these days. I would recommend Randy Kimery. He's always done right by me, I have nothing bad to say about him.

They tell you that you can't be seen their anymore because they say your doing drugs that you know your not !!! I have a spinal cord Stimulater in my back so what do I do if I need it adjusted and stop the pain medication and don't care about you can't sleep because of your legs cramping at night!!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to premiere pain solutions!!!

The doctor is fantastic just wish he would spend more time with me I had a pump put in but he didn’t Go over everything-I was a bit surprised that I have to wait 3 weeks for the medicine that goes Into the pump

I MEANT DOC B AFTER Caroline SPINE, A DOC GOUCH DONE A FUSION AND LEFT BROKE BONES INSIDE ME. BUT DOC B, LOOK ME ON THE EYES AND TOLD ME I WASN'T Just WANTING PAIN MEDS I WAS WANTING TO Live AGAIN. THIS DOC DOESN'T JUST LOOK AT US AS A MONEY SIGN, WE ARE Humans With REAL Problems, AND TODAY I CAN WALK TO MY MAIL BOX, I CAN PLAY WITH MY NIECE AND NEPHEW , GE LOOKS AT US AS HIS FAMILY, HE CARES ABOUT EACH PATIENT HE SEES AND HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN STRAIGHT UP WITH ME. It was terrible u only stuck ur head in the door never ask me any questions informed me I would be wearing a patch I knew nothing about. U were rude & indifferent u didn't have a bedside manner. U didn't care about me or the pain I live with everyday it was the worst experience I ever had u should be ashamed of ur addittude & cockiness.

I am SO thankful for the Premier Pain Solution office. I was seen again this week for a procedure and the experience was similar to my previous visits. ALL the staff in the office are friendly, helpful, and caring. I am SO appreciative that I was recommended by another doctor to be seen there. ALL the staff are interested in trying to help your pain become less. Laura, Madison, Gabriel, Ty, Heather (and ALL the names I can't remember) are just so nice. I've watched them with other patients, too, and have not seen ANY of the staff that aren't just SO kind. I can't say enough about Dr. Baksh, it would take a whole page!!! As ALL the staff do, Dr. Baksh seems to really want to help you get out of pain..... if he ever wonders if his job matters, let me say that it SURE matters to his patients!!! Once being referred from Douth Eastern Sports Medicine, I have never went back.I never have to wait long, everyone is so nice, and even tho I've only had SI injections and my first for arthritis today he has been excellent in giving them to me.

I have been seeing Dr. Baksh for a while now. I feel he’s a very good doctor that really cares about your issues. Usually there isn’t a lot of waiting. In and out in less than an hour. This month I had a problem with my regular pharmacy having my medicine on back order. I drove back to his office and talked to the ladies at the front desk. I told them the issue with my pharmacy not having my meds and requested to have meds sent to another pharmacy. I wanted to wait to make sure he got the information because it was closing time. I’m happy to report that the doctor got my message accurately. By the time I got back to my town an hour later my meds were ready. I’m so very glad I was sent to Dr. Baksh office in the beginning. I would not want to go anywhere else. Thank you to the ladies at the front desk for helping me with my issue in such a short time, and a big thank you to Dr. Baksh for fighting with my insurance company and getting me the procedures I need. I’m very appreciative of all of you.
